Dear SunPlus Family,
The SunPlus Team is aware of the current and potential impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on everyone, including our workers, colleagues and communities. We are working diligently to help ensure ongoing business continuity amidst great uncertainty, as well as working to ensure that our support and services continue without interruption.
First and most importantly, our prayers go out to anyone who’s been impacted by the virus itself, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts and prayers are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our wishes for a full recovery. In addition, we’re truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, our SunPlus Team joins your organization, church, and community in doing everything we can to ensure the health and safety of our workers, families and communities. We know the General Conference has requested all employees to work from home for the next two weeks and other Divisions are doing the same. For the SunPlus department, with our highly distributed workforce and many of our workers typically working remotely, this shift has been relatively smooth, and we continue to deliver the highest levels of performance with our SunPlus Cloud, availability, and support.
During this time, we are aware of urgent needs arising around the world regarding remote access to systems, especially from GCAS, which has also been asked to suspend travel during the next 30 days. The SunPlus Team is ready to continue working closely with our users. Here are some of the ways we are ready to help during this global situation:
.- We understand that remote work is becoming a new reality; therefore, we are preparing for organizations that are looking to shift their accounting operations to the SunPlus Cloud.
.- SunPlus Cloud Backup is available immediately for local installations who are not currently using it for backups.
.- We are providing GCAS auditors with a number of options for connecting with their audit clients’ data, including a web interface for accessing SunPlus Cloud clients without the use of VPN.
.- The SunPlus Global Support team is available and continues to work without interruption.
.- Remote assistance for new implementations and upgrades will be assessed on a case by case basis.
We are closely monitoring the situation on a daily basis, and will adapt our recommendations, advice, and approaches as appropriate. We are also praying that the SunPlus ministry will continue to help us reach people with a message of hope in Christ’s soon return.
